Hurley is the top boardshort selling brand in the U.S. with a deep stable of pro athletes, including world champion John John Florence and hybrid talent Kai Lenny. But the surf world mostly knows them for their professional success in competitive surfing.
My idea was to dimensionalize these athletes and give fans an inspirational peek into their lives outside of official competitions. This unscripted, docu-style film shows that a life dedicated to being on the water is the key to becoming a well-rounded, more creative surfer and a sure-fire way to increase your stoke level.
